Pruning, Crown Reduction, and Shaping
Crown reduction might mean either reducing the height, or the spread of the crown itself. The biggest benefit of crown reduction is increasing the amount of light which a tree could potentially be blocking from what is below it. Does your garden have a shaded area which needs more light? Or are you simply looking to improve the look of a particular tree?
Tree Pruning- Reduction, Thinning, Shaping and Crown Raising
Pruning is a skilled operation that requires a good eye and a touch of finesse.
Reduction is a method of pruning large canopied trees that are growing in confined spaces. Reduction of the branches will lessen the chance of a branch or a whole tree ‘failure'.
Thinning is the removal of selective branches retaining the trees main branch structure whilst letting in more light and air,
improving the overall vigor of the tree.
Shaping removes wayward branches and brings your tree back to its natural form.
Crown Raising lifts the canopy of your tree removing lower braches to the desired clearance height.
Felling and Partial Tree Surgery
Do you have trees which are hanging close to a building and are concerned that it could potentially cause damage? There is no need to cut down the whole tree itself, we can simply cut down the part of the tree which hangs closest to the structure you are trying to protect. This way you get to keep your beautiful trees but also protect your assets.
Removal of trees safely and without causing damage is crucial to our operation. If space allows we will fell your tree into a predetermined area from the ground using exact directional cutting. We are primarily ground based operators. However if your tree requires to be taken apart bit by bit, we have access to qualified arborists who will climb the tree with rope and harness and use lowering equipment to bring branches down in a controlled manner.
Hedge Reduction or Removal
Hedges require regular maintenance to maintain vigor and shape. They provide great benefits providing privacy to your garden and a wonderful habitat to wildlife. We can lower, trim, or if necessary, remove hedges at an appropriate time of the year to protect wildlife, in order to enhance your garden.
